Jobs & Internships

The Global AIDS Alliance is a small non-governmental organization focused on US and global advocacy to reverse the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS worldwide. Specifically, GAA seeks to mobilize the political will and financial resources needed to slow, and ultimately, stop the global AIDS crisis and reduce its impacts on poor countries hardest hit by the epidemic.  We seek to address the epidemic’s fundamental links to social justice issues such as poverty and gender inequity and are committed to achieving the Millennium Development Goals.  GAA current policy priorities are to accelerate progress toward (1) a comprehensive, evidence-based HIV prevention strategy; (2) universal treatment access; (3) comprehensive care and support for orphans and vulnerable children; (4) universal basic education and school fee abolition; and (5) an end to violence against women and children.

When new staff positions become available, they will be posted on this page, and in most cases, with idealist.org.  GAA also offers unpaid internships during the fall, spring, and summer, which are normally filled by college or graduate school students.
